hihi

Okay i m pleasantly surprised that there are people actually asking me what'd happened to my seemingly non existent blog. haha i think i really dun have the discipline to keep blogging regularly and this is really made worse with my horrendous english. some junior of mine really like to poke fun with my grammar and spelling, so better not let the junior know of this page man.=( (yesyes 'childrens' i m sorrie k to my pri school teacher)

I shall update on my life. Yes i m reholding my pink ic now, feeling okay, not too ecstatic, having somehow a mixed feeling. i really mean it when i say a part of me really couldnt bear to let go of army life. It's really the people inside that makes me so yiyibushe. my men from platoon 2, my batch people, all my platoon sergeants, even my csm. k i know this sounds corny and cliche, but i really feel that these people have really left a deep footprint in my life. be it a positive or crappy relationship, these people have definitely taught me useful life lessons.

contrary to popular belief, i really feel that national service is not so bad after all. yes u do get extras, scoldings, punishments occasionally, but what are all these as compared to paying fines, or getting charged in the outside world. so long u obey instructions andfollow the law, and dun get into superiors' black list, u should be fine. ask for offs also easier. people ask u do this do that, just obediently nod ur head, whether u will do it or not is a business later altogether. but some people just really choose to be disobedient or that they are born to be rebellious or they simply dun care. lemme quote u an example, just an example. u are a 3sg, u got married so u stay out(while the rest stay in) shouldnt u be already feeling sort of guilty? u still have the cheek to come back and sleep in bunk whole day?and blame the whole world but urself for things not going in the correct direction. u draw 710 monthly for what? to buy melamine infested milk powder is it? some people are just like that, really ugly.

just chanced by an interesting youtube video saying y home grown singaporeans are given the 'honour' of serving their nation while our foriegn expatriate friends on the other hand are showered with scholarships and job opportunities. i m not saying that it's unfair, neither m i fit to say so because maybe they really fought hard for their places here, maybe singaporeans just refuse to take up jobs they deem low class, maybe singaporeans are plain lazy? But sometimes, it gets irritating, especially the 'scholars'. haven't we got outstanding students at home for the government to groom. why bother to outsource?imo some are really not that fabulous, just mediocre students. they come here, get free education, free lodging, free food, sometimes despise our local culture, call us unfillial brats for not welcoming them for they belong to the same race as our ancestals, and at the end of the day leave singapore to contribute elsewhere? so what does the government stand to gain? resentment from the locals who cant into better courses in uni, who has to serve the country, who cant go to uni open house and choose the course he wants because he's confined in camp for 15days straight to catch mas selemat kastari. resentment leads to hatred which leads to migration. yay! no more problem with overpopulation. well but it may not be totally fair to say all these. some are really smart, nice, capable and MAY choose to work in singapore. but the bottomline is give our locals the opportunities before presenting them to others la.

but then again this kinda thing is just like that. as occupants to a country, we'll definitely be angry when some other people from some other place try to step into our land and share the bounty we have. it's human nature. sometimes we really have ourselves to blame too. we reject jobs that are not up to our standards, we are picky in our uni courses, we are not as hardworking as our foreign friends(in soliciting maybe). so we should really brace ourselves up, be more confident and hardworking and snatch back what we deserve=)

okay another random fact, i took bus 262 to amk central from my area which is just 2 stops away and it cost $0.71?!!?!?. kaoz totally absurd man. the bus fare hike is really atrocious, not to mention the (E)ternally (R)aising (P)rice/(E)very (R)oad (P)ay. thank you ministers for that kind gesture of opening more gantries to ease traffic flow. ease the clog up in one place to clog up another. well done! sometimes i really dun understand how come we pay so much in our fare yet the SBS system is never or seldom improved. bus frequency is big problem esp for service 182. the bus usually takes a long time to come. and when it finally arrives u'd have to squeeze into a warm non-airconditonal bus with a bus full of banglas.err nope not racist, but sometimes u can get ur ass molested on the bus tho=), neither m i a gay-_-. i mean with all these foreign heroes and all the army dudes (from jurong camp, safti n pasir lebar) using the service, it wouldnt kill to add a few more buses to increase the frequency would it? afterall so much money has already been generated by that service alone.sigh dunno where did all the money go to. SMRT is also going to take out more seats from the MRT cabin too. poor ahpeks and ahmms. bo wee zei liao=(. no consideration for ageing population? have more trains la, use money not save money to reduce seats to metal bars.

okay feel much better after ranting.haha.bye
